Apraxo and Content Snare · tax intake

Collecting the files is only one part of the job.

Content Snare gives clients a focused way to answer questions and send documents. Apraxo is building the request, review decision, client files, and tax job together. For a firm that already likes its practice software, Content Snare may be the more practical choice today.

Pilot statusApraxo is in development. Content Snare is an available product. We have reviewed vendor documentation, but have not run a head-to-head product test.

Two routes through intake

A specialist beside your system, or a connected workspace.

Content Snare’s route

Build a request, let the client work through it, send reminders, and review individual responses. Content Snare says many accounting firms use it alongside a separate practice-management tool. It also publishes integrations, so “alongside” does not mean manually moving every file.

Apraxo’s planned route

Ask for the tax documents, review what arrives, keep accepted files with the client, and show the linked tax job’s pending items. The tax pilot is being built around that handoff. We have not yet shown that it is easier or faster than Content Snare.

If your firm is happy with its practice software and needs a collection layer now, Content Snare has a clear fit. If you want to help shape how intake and tax work live together, the Apraxo pilot may be worth a conversation.

The same client problem

The client sent the wrong W-2.

Start with the upload. What happens when the client sends the wrong file?

  1. 01 / REQUESTAsk for the W-2

Give the client a specific upload item with enough context to find the right form.

  2. 02 / RESPONSESee what arrived

Identify the uploaded file without searching through messages.

  3. 03 / CORRECTIONAsk for a replacement

Content Snare documents individual-item rejection; Apraxo plans checklist accept/reject.

  4. 04 / HANDOFFStart the tax work

Check where the accepted file lives and what the job says is pending.

Content Snare’s accounting page documents reminders, progress, and asking a client to correct an item. Apraxo’s fourth step is the design goal for its tax pilot, not a measured advantage.

Try these in a product demo

Questions that expose the real handoff.

For the client

Can they leave and return to an unfinished request? Can they tell which file needs replacing? Will they need another login? Content Snare says clients can work across sessions without creating an account. Apraxo’s planned pilot uses a signed-in browser portal.

For the firm

When the replacement arrives, who accepts it? Where does the accepted file land? Does your practice software know the job is ready, and through which integration or staff action? Ask the same questions of Apraxo during the pilot.

What we verified, and what we have not.

Content Snare statements come from its accounting product page and client-onboarding page. Apraxo statements describe its stage-one product plan. We did not run the same request in both products, test integration setup, or measure client completion time.

Content Snare’s customer-reported savings and satisfaction claims are its own. We do not use them as independent evidence in this comparison. Product features can change; check the linked vendor pages before deciding.

For the tax-firm pilot

Show us where intake stalls.

We’re looking for a small number of firms willing to test the path from client request to job handoff. We’ll tell you what is ready before you use Apraxo for client work.
